Includes first performance cast of October 15, 1938 including Raymond Massey, Howard daSilva, Kevin McCarthy and others. DJ beneath mylar has illustration of Raymond Massey as Lincoln on front by Norman Rockwell. DJ has light wear at top front bookfold edge, very slight wear to top front edge, very tiny tear and light crease at bottom front edge, 1 1/4" tear at spine top right with light creases and slight wear along edge, very slight wear at spine bottom, several very tiny tears and microtear along top back edge, two at bottom, praise on back from Heywood Broun, Brooks Atkinson, Richard Watts of the N.Y. Herald Tribune. Near Good DJ/Very Fine book.
