A page for each letter of the Alphabet with a large B&W illustration above. e.g. "A is an Apple Tree.etc". Each page Printed on one side of the paper only. Endpapers have Vignettes of the illustrations, printed on Art paper. Buff cloth spine with Green/Grey paper-covered Boards. Vignette illus in bottom left corner and 3 pictures of Flowers in a pot decorate the top. Black lattering. A light green ribbon is fixed into the boards so the book can be tied shut. Fore and bottom p[age edges untrimmed. 11 1/2" Tall, 620g. Tips of corners worn.No inscriptions. An occasional spot of foxing on some pages. Size: 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Cloth Spine and Boards.
