About This Item
Akron, OH: Saalfield, 1929. Soft cover. Collectible; VG-. Folio wraps, stapled, [12p] each with 2 letters of the alphabet with accompanying color illustration; stiff card covers ( front and back covers are the same illus) are illustrated by Jan Cragin depicting 3 children reaching for books with a clown-like figure in a crumpled hat looking happily upon their reading adventures; the interior text pictures are not credited. VERY GOOD- : front cover has some paper-thinning in 3 sm. spots, a 2" tear to the paper at the illustrator's name, some typical lt. edgewear, lt. creasing and scuffing to covers, rubbing to spine, interior pages are clean and tight. A nice collectible ABC.
