EARLY REPRINT, circa 1926. 8vo, 205 x 135 mm, 8 x 5¼ inches, bright blue cloth, cameo portrait in flesh, black and orange on upper cover, girl in blazer waving in same colours on spine, lettered black upper cover and spine, pages: 314 + 6. Coloured frontispiece and 2 black and white plates by Elsie Wood. Spine just very slightly faded, very slightly worn at head and tail of spine and corners, 3 mm (1/8") hole just below top of lower hinge, top corners very slightly bumped, edges and prelims including page 1 slightly foxed, occasional slight foxing to contents, prize plate dated 1927 on front endpaper.
