Sold framed (not recommended for overseas sale due to freight costs). The 74th Regiment Of Foot, The Highland Light Infantry, played a major part in the 8th Frontier War. This shows the Highlanders are in the front of the column with the Suffolk Regiment (12th) coming on behind and with the pickets protecting the column on either side. On the extreme left some Xhosa warriors can be seen beneath the euphorbia tree, while on the right the pickets are advancing towards the huts.
