London, Country Life Ltd, 1920 Hardcover book , first edition , 246 pages with all illustrations maps and plans as called for . The history of this famous regiment during the First World war, in the Middle Easrt and on the western front. This copy has the previous owner's signature: Lieutenant L. Gordon Taylow 9th Battalion Manchester Regiment 42 Division B.E.F. A Fair only copy with wear and losses to top and bottom of spine and wear to edges . Title and author still visible on spine. Not a great looking copy but with a nice previous ownership. The Roll of honour at the rear say it all. Pictures available.
