Invitation to the private view and price list loosely inserted. This beautifully produced catalogue was published to accompany the exhibition celebrating 40 years of the Paisnel Gallery. The gallery initially specialised in the social realism of the Newlyn School, with paintings by artists such as Stanhope Forbes, and then moved forwards into paintings by artists working in St.Ives and more general Modern British art. This particular exhibition included works by William Gear, John Bratby, Trevor Bell, Robyn Denny, Roger Hilton and Patrick Heron..
