Corners and spine of dust jacket are slightly scuffed. Faintest big of yellowing around edges of dust jacket. From the private library of journalist and publisher James Strohn Copley with his decorative book-plate on the front paste-down. Mr. Copley was the owner of the San Diego Union Tribune. He had the interest and passion of an inspired collector/newspaper publisher who wanted the finest work available. He wanted every book to represent dramatic, humorous, romantic, passionate, or tragic events in the lives of real people unconsciously caught in the weave of American history. ; Black and white illustrations; Oversized; 186 pages .
