Historic set of signed portraits on two sheets, Likely a promotional item for the 1980 US women's basketball team.  The women won the FIBA tournament leading up to the games, but did not compete in the Olympics due to the Soviet boycott by the US.  

Includes autographs (except from Anne Donovan) from the entire team, including coaches and staff:

Cleveland, MS: Delta State University, 1980. First edition. 4to, 177pp. Photographs, diagrams. Signed and inscribed by Wade to Coach Ray Mears on the title page. Some toning and foxing to illustrated wrappers else clean and nearly fine. Program is 32pp in stapled wrappers. Photos, advertisements throughout. Some wear at staples else nicely preserved. Lady Statesmen bumper sticker laid in. Wonderful association copy of this instructional book from the dominant women's basketball coach at Delta State University from 1973-1979, Margaret Wade (1912-1995).  Wade played for the Lady Statesmen from 1930-32 and then won three straight national championships from 1975-77 as a coach at the school.  During that span, the team had an improbable 51 game winning streak.  Wade was inducted into the Naismith hall of Fame in 1985.
