Good. 1950 Shelbyville High School (Shelbyville, Kentucky), 8 1/8 x 11 1/4 inches tall burgundy faux leather hardcover, no dust jacket (as issued), embossed design and lettering to front cover, copiously illustrated with black-and-white photographs, 58, [26] pp. Slight to moderate soiling, rubbing and edgewear to covers, with some fraying at spine tips. Prior owner name in red ink to front pastedown. Otherwise, a very good to near fine copy - clean, bright and unmarked - of this scarce yearbook. ~SP38~ [2.0P] The 1950 yearbook for Shelbyville High School in Shelbyville, Kentucky, years later absorbed into Shelby County High School. The county seat for Shelby County, Kentucky, Shelbyvile was established in 1792 and for many years was known as an agricultural city - principally producing corn, hemp, tobacco, wheat, pork, and beef.
