Text block lightly, typically age toned; jacket rather rubbed and edgeworn, with spine lightly sunned and a couple edge chips -- but complete, overall attractive and (Brodart encased) fully handleable. Nice first edition of this facsimile reprint of the venerable retailer's Catalogue No. 97 for the Fall/Winter 1922-23 season, their "Golden Jubilee" (1872-1922 -- and now centennial), a massive soup-to-nuts offering of... well, anything and everything. Did the 1968 publication of a facsimile of competitor Sears, Roebuck & Co.'s 1897 catalogue prompt this one-upmanship from the older firm? Difficult to find in sharp condition like this and with jacket present.
