New York: New York Central & Hudson River Railroad, Passenger Department, 1897. Folded sheet. The Great New York Excursion, Tuesday, Oct. 5, '97. No Change of Trains, of Cars... to Grand Central Station, New York. Eight Mammoth Special Solid Trains of Wagner Palace Cars and First Class Standard Coaches. Seven Dollars to New York and Return. 10 Days of Pleasure." Large folded sheet, 24" x 16". Folded into twelve panels. On one side the panels show the excursion, the time tables and the destination with illustrations of the city and its attractions. On the reverse is a ten panel map of New York City of 1897, plus two further panels of information. A few very tiny spots of foxing on the front panel. A near fine, unused copy. No tears or wear.
