Alençon, Normandy, France, 1742. Dated 1742 by notary, M. Laurent Françoise Develoger, (first president of the office of Finance of the generality of Alençon) signs the will and testament of Monsieur Vathoy du Metz, son-in-law of Madame la Comtesse de Bao, who is to be the executor of the last will and testament of Mme Bao. The document is stamped with the blue achival seal of the Order of Malta. It also has at various agreements signatures of all concerned parties. The 4 page document is elegantly and densely written and in good shape save for a tear to the back leave not affect text.. Manuscript. Fair+. Folio - over 12" - 15" tall.
