Blue cloth boards. 234pp illustrated line drawings. 4to indexed. Inscribed ffep thus: "Colin & Sheila, With best regards for 1974 and so forth, Jose" and signed on title page "Jose Burman". A collection of 36 humorously told incidents in South African history, little gems hidden away behind the major events. Many of these individual essays were originally published in Personality magazine. Cartoon chapter heading illustrations by Jackson.
