Foreword by Steve Waugh, author's note, introduction by author, further reading and index. Peach coloured end pages. The text is illustrated with both colour and black-and-white photographs. Dark pink coloured boards with white coloured titles to the front panel and back strip. Photographic dustwrapper with red and white coloured titles to the front panel and white coloured titles to the back strip. Since the beginning of test cricket almost 2500 men have appeared for various countries. The author, an experienced sportswriter, has taken the first test (played in March 1877) up to the time of the book's publication and analysing career records, eras, sifted through both fact and fiction to come up with the hundred best test cricketer's of all times. The best – Don Bradman, and ,coming in at number 100 Doug Walters with such cricketers as Ricky Ponting, Alan Davidson, Frank Worrell, Sachin Tendulkar, Shane Warne and Imran Khan filling in the middle. Rubbing of the book corners, lower book edges and to the back strip edges. Some chips along the lower book edge with some age toning of the text block edges. The lower back strip edge shows insect nibbles. Creasing of the dustwrapper edges with a little Chipping of the back strip edges.
