About This Item

London: Mitchell's Musical Library, 1824. 12 pp. The cover has the title of the item engraved in various scripts. Songs include "Dance Little Baby", "Bye Bye Little Dolly", "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star", "Little Miss Kid", "Pretty Flower, Tell Me Why?", and "Who'll Come and Play with Me, Dialogue and Duet". The last song is a dialogue between a sparrow and a child. The last name of the composer is spelled Hamond on this item, however reviews in literary magazines at the time of publication (1824) sometimes spell it as Hammond. Disbound from a larger item. Initials of composer on lower margin. Trimmed. Slight foxing. Minor toning due to age.
