Los Angeles: Paramount Pictures, 1923. Vintage photograph of Cecil B. Demille, Jeanie Macpherson and Jack Holt on the set of the 1923 film. With manuscript annotations and rubber stamp of noted collector Gene Ringgold on the verso.
Filmed in two parts, first is the story of Moses leading the Jews out of Egypt to the Promised Land, receiving the tablets and worshiping the golden calf. The second part of the film is set in modern times and follows two brothers and their mother's contrasting relationships to the Ten Commandments.
Shot on location in various locations around California.
