This catalogue was produced to accompany the exhibition of work by the Swiss illustrator Cornelia Hesse-Honegger (b.1944) held at Tullie House, Carlisle from November 1997 to January 1997. The exhibition then toured with its related exhibition "After Chernobyl" to Leeds, Middlesborough, Nottingham and Vancouver. "For 25 years Cornelia Hesse-Honegger worked as a scientific illustrator for the scientific department of the Natural History Museum at the University of Zurich. Her work is an interface between art and science; it plays witness to a beautiful but endangered nature.
