Peter Mackenzie Hammond is an artist and musician who has dedicated his life to the service of others. Probably because he didn't go to University... Pete has worked as a facilitator in Youth Detention centres running mental health awareness groups and depression programs. He has also been trained in suicide intervention strategies that have come in handy a few times. After a drunken rant about how he could do a much better job at being a wedding officiant after attending his cousins wedding, (and challenged by his mother who reminded him that Hemingway said always do sober what you said you would do drunk... ) Pete became a wedding officiant and has been slamming his friends and strangers alike together for the past 12 years under the Alias, "The Sinister Minister." He recently received training to become a funeral celebrant and has begun working in that capacity as well. Pete was the founding member and principle songwriter for his rock reggae band Loudlove for many years before circumstances took the band off the road and work on this book began. Pete will return to music and has already been writing songs for a new record. This nut job has been involved in countless fundraising events as a musician and has been a mental health advocate and passionate speaker for many years. A lover of comedy, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, art and of course books, Pete is working hard towards his goal of opening the Hillbilly Healing Center, an alternate coping skills development ranch and unlearning center, where people can find peace by blowing things to pieces, and a whole lot more. Pete lives in Rural Ontario Canada, with his lady Terri and a whole bunch of unruly animals. The Bad Times Bible is his first book.
