About the author

Born February 11th, 1985 in Brooklyn, NY to his African American mother and his Caribbean American father, he is the youngest of seven kids. J.R. Mack is a writer who has taken his personal life experiences, trials, tribulations, struggles, and blessings and turned them into his first highly anticipated novel. Raised in Augusta, GA and a 2003 graduate of Glenn Hills High School, J.R. Mack took a passion towards writing at a very young age with poetry, and songs. After high school J.R. got his trade in Culinary Arts from Turner Job Corps. In 2010 he started Strayer University in pursuit of his Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. He has a wife; Tawanna and two daughters Melody-Rion Tiarrah Mack and Lyric-Rene Joyce Mack. They currently reside in Atlanta, Ga.
