Inner hinges (and inside edge of the title) strengthened. Original front-endpaper laid-down to front board. Title with previous owners signatures to top margin. First 14 pages consist of Preface; Alphabetical Index; and Metrical Index. In all there are 276 separate tunes with musical script (some with words). Clear text throughout.
