About This Item

Indianapolis: The Bobbs-Merrill Company, Inc, 1974. Paperback. First printing of the softbound issue, a nice copy in 8x5.5 inch decorated wraps. Contents leaf bears an inked-out stroke, appears to annul a personal accession number; back cover has a few offset smudges; item is otherwise unmarked, and is quite clean and sound. FYI, author's "note to reader" states that "Almost all of these poems can only be read aloud" but we didn't try. We silently gave up.
