Toronto: McClelland and Stewart, 1952. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. 8vo. Full navy cloth. Spine cocked, some foxing to cloth, worse at tail edges. Dust jacket is sunned to spine, chipped to spine head, some edge wear and short tears, toned and stained to rear cover. This book comprises the first collection of Canadian quotations ever to be compiled. The result of many years of extensive research, it contains 3500 quotations collected from books, magazines, newspapers, speeches, and letters.
