1842 three quarter bound hardcover as pictured. Binding is firm. Brown paper boards are rubbed, tanned and spotted. Borards and leather spine/corners show significant wear. Endpapers mottled and stained. Book depository plate glued to FEP. Pencil writing on FFEP. Half title page has been cut out with cut extending part way through title page. RFEP missing. Text is age tanned , stained and mottled but still very readable. Several pages have small tears. Bottom half of last page of the index is missing.
