About This Item

Tucson: University of Arizona Press, 1992. First Edition. Trade paperback. Very good. An omnibus poetry collection combining three previous volumes (Going for the Rain; A Good Journey; and Fight Back: For the Sake of the People, For the Sake of the Land). With a substantial introduction by Ortiz. Ortiz is a native of the Acoma Pueblo.

xiv, 365 pages. This is the paperback issue, published simultaneously with the uncommon hardcover version. First edition (first printing of the paperback issue with a numberline ending in 1). Spine faded, thus very good. Signed by Ortiz on the title page; this was Pulitzer Prize and Oscar-winning author Larry McMurtry's copy, with his bookplate on the inside front cover.
