About This Item

Los Angeles: Lloyd O' Enterprises, 1981. First edition. Hardcover. Good +/good +. Leatherette hardcover with gilt titles, 1st edition in dustjacket. A good plus copy with some speckling to the front cover from the gilt titles. Bumping to the lower rear corner and general shelfwear at the board edges. Binding and hinges are solid as if unread. Pages clean and unmarked. Unclipped dustjacket is also good plus with ruffling at the edges and 1/2" tear at the top of the front panel, spineward - bright and attractive, but with creasing to the flaps. 239 pp., O'Callaghan's personal account of his shooting of the "raging, foaming-at-the-mouth, knife-wielding, woman." The Love shooting was one of the incidents that lead to major change in the LAPD's operations and image.
