About This Item
1883 VIOLIN 1ed Classical Music Vivaldi Paganini Beethoven Mozart Haydn Viols
George Hart was a 19th-century violinist and string instrument maker. After studying music at the Royal Academy of Music in London, Hart began making and selling violins to English violin players. His instrument making propelled him to writing a book on the history of the violin and violin music as well as the history of stringed instruments through the medieval and baroque eras. Of course, no history of the violin treatise would be complete without the mentions of the Italian greats of Vivaldi, Boccherini, Corelli, and of course Paganini.
Hart also covers the violin music written from other famed composers such as Beethoven, Schubert, Haydn, Mozart, Purcell, and Mendelssohn.
