Melbourne: National Gallery of Victoria, 1984. Paperback. Near Fine. 88 p.: illustrations; 30 cm. Paperback with illustrated cover. With an essay by Alistair Smith. Published to accompany an exhibition at the National Gallery of Victoria. Austrian-Moravian architect and designer Josef Hoffmann (1870-1956) was one of the founders of the Vienna Secession and the Wiener Werkstatte. Just before the First World War he designed an apartment in Vienna for Moriz Gallia, whose children moved much of the furniture and decorations to Australia prior to the Second World War. In Near Fine Condition: corners slightly rubbed; clean and bright.
