David Douglas, 1887. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1887. No edition stated. 376 pages. No dust jacket. This is an ex-Library book. Blue cloth with gilt titles and decoration to front and spine. Expected library inserts, stamps and inscriptions. Pages have deckled edges. Edited by John Veitch. Upper text block edge gilt. Pages have slight foxing, tanning and minor thumbing. Faint creases to some pages. Very slight cracking. Boards have some edge wear, with moderate bumping and fraying to corners, while spine ends are slightly crushed and frayed. Open tears to spine too. Rather scratched, rubbed and marked overall. A few liquid droplet marks. Gilt is bright. Book has a moderate forward lean. Spine is noticeably sunned.
