Bound in pictorial, laminated boards, and issued without dust jacket. A biography of Alberto Guerrero, a Chilean-born pianist (1886-1959). He is first as the mentor of Canadian pianist Glenn Gould. However, he influenced several generations of musicians while teaching at the Toronto (later Royal) Conservatory of Music. The book includes chapter notes, a bibliography, and index. A near fine copy with minimal signs of wear.
