John Murray, 1907. First edition hardback, no dustjacket. It is bound in green cloth with a gilt device and spine decoration and gilt page tops; the binding has some light wear only and is sound. The endpapers are browning a little and have owners' bookplates and inscr iptions. There is a touch of light edge foxing, the text and plates are otherwise clean throughout.
