VG-Fine/No Jacket. 14.5 Cm x 22 Cm. 94+2 (list), errata slip after t.p., numerous mathematical text figs and tables. 1877 dated ink sig.top t.p. (this repeated but only faintly visible on grey fr.free endpaper) otherwise internally clean, tight, unmarked and unadamaged. Gilt-printed covers clean & bright with only v.sl.rubbing to fr.joint and corners. This is a highly technical mathematical work and apparently very scarce.
