London, Hamilton Adams & Co., 1835 9th. Two volumes, hardback, 8.5 x 5.5 inches. Halfbound brown calf and marbled paper to boards. Twin maroon leather spine labels lettered in gilt. Gilt and embossed decorations to spines. Full marbled page edges and endpapers. In good condition. Some slight rubbing to spines, some rubbing to paper on boards, corners bumped and slightly nicked. Thin chip to paper on front board of vol.1, and paper chipped on leading board edge. Neat inscription to front endpapers in both vols., “L.B. Vawdrey, Sept 1876, from W.S.V.” Contents pages a little pulled at front of vol.1 with some rubbing to page edges. Occasional pencil notes to margins of text. Some minor handling marks, one minor ink spot to edge of last couple of pages in vol2. Else clean and tight copies. 2 vols: 464 & 542pp.
