London: Lawrence and Bullen, 1899. Leather. Good. 7" by 5". None. A naval novel from William Fry Shannon. With a vignette title page. In a half-calf binding. Externally, sound, though with some rubbing and marks. Front board slightly warped. Front hinge strained from being bound too tightly, with tears to the gutter of the endpapers. Internally, generally firmly bound. Ink signature to contents page. Pages are bright, and mainly clean, with just a few instances of foxing and some handling marks. Good

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
