This first edition is limited to 500 copies, this copy being unnumbered. Laid-in is a hand written slip "With the compliments of the author." Previous owner's more modern bookplate on front fixed endpaper. Edgewear to head and tail of spine. The front gutter is cracked. Scattered foxing.
