It takes the heroine Mellie from the time she is ten years old, into her teen years. (Google Books) Appendix, 182 pp. <br><br> Condition: Green boards, gilt title on spine. Normal wear to edges and corners, rubbed and soiled. Dust jacket with title on cover and spine has edge tears and rubbing. Flaps are glued to inside covers. Full page inscription on front endpaper dated 1947. Previous owner's name on pastedown and title page. Good reading copy. Full refund if not satisfied.
