London; Burns, Oates & Washbourne Lomited, circa [1880], 1880. Original Wrappers. Author's Edition. Softcover octavo, pp. [5], iv-vi, [7]-220. Publishers printed green card wraps with 2/6 price to upper cover. Wraps sunned and toned, especially to spine; creasing to spine and minor loss at tail. Inner hinge cracked but holding at pp. 28-9; leaves browned but otherwise clean. Ink ownership inscription to front free endpaper dated 1954. Irish history including the Famine and the trial of O'Brien.
