London: Robert Hale. 1955 . 1st edition. Hardback in dustwrapper. Illustrated. With frontispiece. Publisher's original blue boards. Contents: several corner tips lightly/moderately creased. A few light smudge marks. Some ligh/moderate browning and blemishing to front endpaper edges/corners. Otherwise pages generally good to good+ and largely clean. Previous owner's inscription front paste-down. Boards: light to moderate water-run towards front outer edges/corners. Lightly bumped corner. Otherwise sound and binding firm. Dustwrapper: water-run to inside of front dustwrapper which has left the front a little wrinkled (only really noticeable when the book is held at a certain angle or light). Some light blemishing to reverse. Small internally closed edge nick. Otherwise colour and lovely and bright. 235 pp.
