Indianapolis: Bobbs-Merrill Co., 1945. First Limited Edition. Very good+ in decorated green cloth covered boards with gilt text stamping on the spine and front board and with map end sheets. A small quarto of 8 3/8 by 5 7/8 inches with a very slight lean to the spine. In a very good+ unclipped dust jacket with light wear and rubbing to the ends of the spine area and with small chips at for fore corners of the panels over the tips of the boards. Signed by the author on the special, tipped-in page immediately after the first free end sheet. The fourth volume in The American Lakes Series edited byMilo M. Quaife. 384 pages including an index and bibliographical notes. (Fitzgerald, AL7a)
