John Lloyd, 1951. Hardcover. Good/Acceptable. 1951. First Edition. 149 pages. Cream dust jacket over blue cloth with gilt titles to spine. Corrections slip loosely enclosed after contents pages. Binding remains firm. Pages have light tanning and foxing throughout. Pencil inscription to front free endpaper. Foxing more noticeable towards the start and end of the book and on text block edges. Heavy strips of tanning to half title and penultimate leaf. Boards have light shelf-wear with corner bumping. Light sunning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends. Spine is slightly sunned. Gilt is dulled and worn. Unclipped jacket has heavy edgewear with areas of loss, heavy tears, chips, and creasing. Medium tanning to spine and edges. Water staining to front panel. Moderate loss to upper rear. Foxing overall.
