New York: Arco Publishing Company. Very Good- in Fair dust jacket. 1978. First Edition. Hardcover. Covers a bit soiled with curled spine ends and light wear at corners. Former owner's book plate on front paste down. Inscription, signed by the author, Ralph D. Gardner (NY Times staff member, advertising executive and a noted biographer of Horatio Alger) on the ffep is dated November 21, 1980. Block edges are soiled and page edges are a bit toned, otherwise a fine copy. Jacket is heavily worn with several tears including a large missing portion over the front cover from the spine effecting the "Hor" in the title. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 503 pages; Signed by Author .
