Black-and-white illustrated frontispiece of the author. Cream coloured boards with gilt coloured titles to the front panel. Plain text dustwrapper with dark brown coloured titles to the front panel. A small book of poems written during World War II by the English poet and soldier Patrick Hore-Ruthven. Softening of the back strip edges rubbing of the book corners. Uniform light tanning of the text block edges and pages. Previous owners name end page and seller's sticker to the lower right-hand corner of the front paste-down. Rubbing of the dustwrapper edges and panels with the sunning of the backstrip. Rubs and marks to the dustwrapper panels. This is the first Australian edition. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
