About This Item
Edmonton: Hurtig Publishers, 1973. Hardcover. Good/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Hardcover in sturdy mustard cloth with gilt titling to the spine. Illustrated with 16 pages of b&w photos and reproductions on plates. Bibliographical references and an Index. The book is square and the binding very firm, but there is some foxing to the text block, the plate edges are browned, and the half title also shows some tanning. There is also a little internal foxing. More serious, one page (p. 109) is damaged in that there is a delaminated patch in its middle as if a piece of tape got stuck to the page and pulled some paper when pulled free. It's not a big spot, and one can still make out the affected text. The dust jacket is darkened at the spine, has some minor wear and browning, and there are rings on the front panel where, likely, a cup was placed.

About Pulp & Circumstance
Welcome to Pulp & Circumstance on Biblio. Once a brick and mortar bookseller, I am pleased that I can now offer scarce and/or collectible books and other items via this platform.
P&C strives to ensure that all items are clean and fairly described. Packages will be wrapped with care and dispatched as soon as feasible, usually on the next business day.
We do not use stock photos. All our photos are of the actual item offered for sale. We try to include the publishers' own descriptions of content by including photos of dust jacket flaps and back covers so far as they seem useful, and we also use photos to show material flaws where we can.
The "Pulp & Circumstance" watermark you might notice in some of our photos does not, of course, appear on any of the items themselves.
Please note that the colour in our photos often fails to come out right. The hue shifts a bit due to the limitations of our equipment, the lighting in our workshop, and of course my own lack of photographic expertise.
Shipping costs per book are always cheaper when more than one book is sent in the same package. Read more about shipping charges in "Terms of Sale" below.
Feel free to ask any questions you might have by email. We will usually respond within 24 hours. Happy browsing!
