There is a biographical sketch of the author at the front, and an Index and list of Illustrations at the back. There are five advertising pages at the back for books on beekeeping.
Condition:
There are a few small stains on the covers. Bright gilt lettering on the spine. Tight binding with no loose pages. There is a crack at the rear hinge between two end papers resulting in the back cover being a bit shaky. Foxing to the front and rear end papers. Tiny cloth tears at the top and bottom edges of the spine. The text pages are mostly clean with only some very mild age-toning along the outer page edges, and an occasional small foxing/stain spot found. Name written in pen and "June 1912" written in pencil on the front end paper. Overall the book is in Good condition.
