University of Washington Press, 1967. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Near Fine. The Lamont Poetry Selection for 1966 of The Academy Of American Poets, and his first book. From the library of poet/academic William Matchett, with his bookplate on the half title, with a pen note stating the book came from the Academy of American Poets, with a notice card announcing the Academy's selection of this book for the 1966 Lamont Poetry Selection, and compliments of the Academy card laid in loose. Hanson was a graduate student in the English department at the UW around the same title Matchett joined the faculty in 1952. Light foxint along the top and fore-edge, else a Very Good copy in a Near Fine jacket.
