About This Item
Grant Richards , 1899 . Hardback. . Quarter vellum spine lettered in gilt with grey boards. Deckled page edges. The image on this page is of the actual book for sale. VG+ hardback (light edgewear, top corner of front boards bumped, endpapers foxed, top part of half title torn away (removed previous ownership sig.?)). This book has a few quirks. There is a portrait of Alfred Douglas cut from a newspaper pasted on to half title. The valediction from a an autograph letter including the author's signature is pasted on to title page along with a similar loosely inserted one. Small square 'Lord A Douglas' also pasted on to title page.
