About This Item

Grove Press, 2000. First edition. Hardcover. Very Good in Very Good DJ. First American printing, very good + hardcover shows some mild soil and shelf wear to covers and toning to pages, else tight and clean, in very good dust jacket (price at flap) that shows edgewear including a couple of small tears and some exposure toning at bottom corners of both panels. 380 pages translated from the Hebrew by Hillel Halkin. Still a solid copy of this fictional and "..unconventional Holocaust memoir that defies all moral judgment and ventures into the darkest terrain imaginable.
