The front end paper has been clipped to remove an owner's name. The dust jacket's front panel and flaps have been taped to the rear end papers. Jean-Guillaume, baron Hyde de Neuville (24 January 1776 - 28 May 1857) was a French aristocrat, diplomat, and politician. He was exiled to America by Napoleon in 1813, and settled in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
