Gilmore, with a unique inscription and duck stamp collection laid-in.. Quarto, 94pp. Paper covered boards, ducks stamped in maroon on front board. Red morocco spine, title in gilt on spine. In the publisher's dust jacket, price-clipped, faint offsetting to verso, a near fine example. Housed in the publisher's matching marbled paper-covered clamshell with a leather spine. One of 300 copies, this being number 194. Signed by the author on the limitation page. Inscribed by the author on the half-title: "To Mr. J.S. Parker / a good friend, a great sportsman + conservationist. I hope you enjoy many more years of shooting. Jene Gilmore." The following stamps are affixed to their corresponding page throughout the book: 1940, 1942, 1943, 1947, 1950, 1951, 1960, 1962, 1963, 1964, 1966, 1967, 1968, 1970, 1972. Numerous additional stamps laid-in on the last page, released from 1971 through 1989.
