The paper covered boards with Nicholson's illustrations to the covers. The pictorial endpapers are a colorful riot of many, many bunnies. There are 19 pages of text, four full-page color illustrations, and three double-page illustrations. The illustrations and the text are bright. This first edition is the American issue, printed in Great Britain with English sheets, with Whitefriar's Press annotation on verso of last page. Published in 1922 by George H. Doran (New York) and Heinemann (London).
